To manage the partnership services of transactional payroll, ensuring processes and plans are in place to support effective, efficient, complete and accurate financial information for the Client. To assist in the implementation of the new HR and Payroll Agresso system.
To provide payroll expertise to the A1 project team and assist in the implementation of the new HR and Payroll Agresso system
Responsible for the performance monitoring and management of the contract through agreed KPI with the partner organisation(s) based on the service specifications and outputs of the contract, including payment mechanisms, for the transactional Payroll Services.
To monitor and challenge the internal controls of the partnership when they impact on the delivery of the contract.
Liaise with key officers working on the contract within the partnership to maximise their performance on behalf of the client
Create and maintain, where possible, standardised policies and procedures, including training, in relation to the management of the contract and its associated systems to secure the delivery of secure and robust financial and HR / Payroll systems and processes that meet the requirements of both the Client services and the Section 151 officer.
Liaise with the HR Business Development Manager and HR Business Support Service Manager relating to any or payroll issues and with service managers to ensure that HR / Payroll procedures are adhered to for HR, payment and costing purposes
Investigate and resolve any in depth technical system queries utilising Client and Unity staff, suppliers and contractors as necessary.
To present Pension Appeals as and when necessary.
To liaise with and provide information to external and internal audit, HMRC and other bodies as required.
To assist where necessary to respond to queries from Local Government Pension Scheme or Teacher’s Pension Authority
