Finance Analyst ¦ 3-6 Months ¦ Kingston ¦ £250pd

Immediately Recruting a FINANCE ANALYST. This is a temporary role to start ASAP and is expected to run for a minimum of 3 MONTHS, the  position is located in Kingston. This role will be Monday to Friday.  



This role is for a Finance Analyst supporting the Global Finance Services operations within Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS).   This is an outstanding opportunity to support and make a difference to Client’s cutting edge global transformation programme in Finance. 

Transformation is being rolled out across Client’s global markets with a solution delivered through a mix of Outsourced Contracts, Global Operating Centres and Country Finance.  To support this Processes and Tools are developed and executed to create a competitive advantage to Client.

Finance Business Partners support Finance Leadership team of VP and 20+ Finance Directors across the service lines and programmes to ensure that we have full control of costs and savings, and that decisions are made with appropriate rigour and financial analysis and the business case are developed robustly and delivered. 

The Project Management Office of the overall Finance programme will be operated out of the team for the first time and the analyst will be play a key role in this.  As such we are looking for a Finance analyst with excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate this in an insightful way.

The job holder must have strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders.


The role is for Finance Analyst supporting Finance Programme, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager

Key responsibilities will comprise:

Setting and running a data model to collate input for the Quarterly Finance Programme review.  This will track the costs and benefits of Finance transformation across the global organisation (Finance Functional Pillars, Geographies and Functions).  Performing analysis on this, creating insight that is clear and high quality presentable material.  The job holder will interact with multiple stakeholders to collate information and data flows required.


Monthly analysis of Global Finance Cost, understanding key movements and producing the monthly submission


Support the 3 year Strategic Plan for Finance programme and Financial Services.  Population of the templates with base assumptions and co-ordinating with Service lines and stakeholders


Ad hoc requests as required by the leadership team to understand the Finance programme further and support key review of Business and Financial Services.


Transactional Finance Change programmes:-


Prepare monthly commentary and cost pack on projects vs. forecast from the relevant FBPs / stakeholders

Prepare quarterly commentary and forecast pack on programme forecast from the relevant FBPs / stakeholders

Annually collect overview of next year cost by project on each programme

Monthly review all Finance projects and cost are mapped correctly

Co-ordinate ad-hoc request across programme costs


Finance Business Partner Financial Change programme ensuring all costs are recorded correctly and managed within budget


Complete any risk assessment exercises as required for Business and Finance Services


This will be a high profile role interacting with Senior Finance leadership.  Opportunity will suit a strong performing and ambitious Finance analyst who will gain a unique insight into Finance transformation and will allow them to develop strong analytical and information communication skills.  A variety of analytical techniques will be used and the candidate will gain business partnering and fundamental Finance skills such as performance management and forecasting which place them well to develop their career.

Financial Analysis experience

Experience of working in multi-national teams and/or a virtual team environment and advantage

Ability to learn quickly and respond to changing environment

Experience of supporting Commercial Finance/ Consultancy experience in a Complex organisation

Likely to be studying or have Professional accounting qualification


Experience of working Finance Business Partnering and / or Commercial Experience managing costs

Skills in creating information for senior stakeholders
