Role: Commercial/Procurement Lawyer
Duration: 6 months+
Rate: £35 per hour
Main duties and responsibilities include: advising on high-value and/or high-profile contracts; working in procurement law, for example framework agreements and contracts; advising on intellectual property including licensing and data protection issues. Successful management of complex high-value and high-profile cases. Ability to work to deadlines. Provide legal advice to clients. Takes responsibility for own work with substantial degree of autonomy but knowing when to consult and to delegate. Displays an understanding of the context the client operates in. Displays the professional attitude that client and company expect from a member of an organisation with a high reputation. Responds to reasonable client requests including agreeing achievable and realistic actions, timescales etc. Keeps abreast of legal developments and current thinking on related policy issues.
To have experience in either contract law, procurement, intellectual property, public law.
