Role: Finance Manager
Location: Greater London
Salary: £400 to £450
JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Act as key liaison point between Finance and the business; Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of business areas and performance priorities; Ensure the business understands implications of decisions and available choices; Provide analysis to support decision making; Use benchmarking to highlight opportunities and add value; Identify sustainable cost savings targets and initiatives as part of business planning processes; Support financial analysis of business areas for Spending Reviews and risk management; Lead on financial reporting to support Cabinet Office decision making; Assess accounting implications and provide accounting advice in accordance with IFRS and central government accounting rules; Build financial and commercial awareness of non-finance staff within the business; Support on construction of business cases through financial challenge and the identification of commercial implications of options considered.
