Role Profile:

Deekay are recruiting for an established premier consultancy with over 40 years’ experience based in the East Midlands.

At present, they have a requirement for an Associate Director or Director to join their expanding office. in Derbyshire.

Purpose:

The clients' expertise lies in Civil & Structural Engineering, Architecture, CDM & Project Management. Their work is diverse with projects in the fields of Industry, Nuclear, Leisure, Rail, Commerce, Retail, Hi-tech manufacturing, Airports, Defence and Hygienic Environments. With a proven track record of handling small scale to multi-million pound projects both in the United Kingdom and overseas.

Essential:

You need to be a Chartered member of IStructE and/or ICE and must have extensive structural engineering design and project management experience gained in a UK consultancy. Knowledge about industrial projects would be beneficial.

It is essential that you have good communication skills, are hands-on and capable of running your own projects, undertaking the design and management of projects as well as client-facing and servicing clients and representing the consultancy on bids and work-winning events. Ideally, you should be a dynamic candidate keen to progress your career within a forward-thinking practice.

Top base salary (£60k - £80k subject to experience) and benefits including a profit related bonus, share options scheme & health insurance. The office is a relaxed professional working environment and the suitable candidate has the scope to progress to Director level if appointed as an Associate Director in the short-medium term in an expanding owner-managed consultancy.
