Main Purpose of Post:

Our client are seeking a Contractors Engineering Manager to join their team working out of their head office in Barnsley.

Manage the engineering process throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with the Project Manager and CRE, reporting to the Contracts Manager for the associated project/ programme of works. Review the remits, develop and agree the relevant engineering processes and deliverables for the complexity and scale of projects to enabling the right solution to be provided. This will be undertaken and agreed with the associated Network Rail DPE of the works, in accordance with Governance of Railway Infrastructure Projects (GRIP)

About you:

Our ideal candidate will have been accepted as a CRE previously and preferably as a CEM within a contracting organisation & have at least 10 years railway experience. Have a strong focus on safety and a good level of understanding of CSM and TSIs.
