To provide subject matter expertise supporting the Engineering and Technical Manager to ensure the successful implementation of the Highways Improvement Programme. The post holder will be the responsible point of point of contact for the supply chain regarding all technical assurance queries relating to the programme. It involves working closely with each scheme engineer and the contractor to ensure a consistent design and quality of construction across the programme that enables the end state to be operated on a business-as-usual basis.
