To support the Senior Development Engineer as directed through inspections, assessments and audits of construction projects.
 
You will liaise with the contractors, developers, their agents, and internal colleagues. Acting as an inspector in a clerk of works role, you will be responsible for ensuring that highway construction projects are delivered in accordance with design guide standards.
 
This includes monitoring the contractor’s work, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, health and safety regulations (CDM), and providing timely reports.
