Contracts & Procurement Lawyer – Westmorland & Furness (Local Authority role)

Hourly rate negotiable
 
37 hours per week. Flexible, can be office based, hybrid or remote
 
Extensive knowledge and experience in commercial/contracts transactions and procurement advice often in complex circumstances. Providing commercial, contract and procurement  legal advice on committee reports and to officers. Experience of working within a local authority environment required.
 
Any milestones for completion of particular projects – To be personally responsible for conducting and managing, in accordance with the practice standards of Legal Services, a caseload of files, particularly of a more complex and corporately significant and/or higher risk nature for internal customers.
